The iF Design Award, abbreviated as "iF", was founded in 1953 and is held annually by the oldest industrial design organization in Germany, the iF Industrie Forum Design.

The German IF International Design Forum annually selects the iF Design Award, which is renowned for its "independent, rigorous, and reliable" award philosophy, aiming to enhance public awareness of design. 

Its most prestigious gold award is known as the "Oscar Award of the Product Design Industry".
