The products designed by Bela are currently mainly made of natural wood.
In fact, many people have a question: "How much forest does it require to cut down when using wood as the main material?
This must be the most environmentally unfriendly approach."
In my opinion, wood is a natural and sustainable material, and if forests are planted and viewed in a planned way,
it is recyclable and sustainable. If a product can be used for a long time, even for a lifetime,
it also makes a great contribution to environmental protection.
And wood has exactly that possibility. Dieter Rams said 60 years ago: Good design is honesty;
Good design is enduring. Many products in our society today do not meet these two requirements,
which I believe are directly related to environmental protection.
So, environmental protection is not just about selecting materials, it is also directly related to the design perspective and attitude.
