The energy of the exhibition continues

During the few days of the exhibition, I heard a lot of praise from foreigners.

This undoubtedly gave me a lot of confidence to continue moving forward. In this exhibition,

I saw many outstanding designs and also met several young foreign designers, which was the biggest gain of this trip.

Yota Kakuda (www.yatakakuda. com), a Japanese designer in the same exhibition area, is one of my favorite.

His works are delicate, low-key, and vivid, and he feels very much like this designer's personality.

He said that he was in Hangzhou when he was designing cookware for MUJI. Recently, I have also exchanged some designs with him via email.

I also really like the design group Toer from the Netherlands (www.studiotoer. com), whose Spring LED Lamp design left a deep impression on me.

They have been in contact with me recently and would like to do some small collaboration to try using natural wood material

for the outer frame of the Shape by Time clock he designed. The exhibition actually gave us young designers many opportunities,

and many design shops, merchants, and museum stores have handed us business cards expressing their intention to cooperate.

One of the German gift companies liked my Wood Egg design and sent someone to deliver the order contract the next day.

This can also be considered my first export order.

The energy of this exhibition continues. Yesterday, I met the founder of the American company Designldea (whose company has a branch in Loft49, Hangzhou)

at the exhibition and invited me to meet them at their company in Hangzhou.

Speaking of him and the American design director liking my two works,

he wants to purchase these two designs from me and wants me to become a contracted designer for their company.

All of this was brought about by this exhibition.

In the exhibition, I once again felt the respect for design. It can also be reflected in a simple behavior or habit.

In many domestic exhibitions, people habitually take out their cameras to take pictures of the products or works on display,

and in this exhibition, this habitual action is very outrageous. I think this is also a manifestation of everyone's respect for design.

During the few days of the exhibition, I saw many excellent designs and products,

but at the same time, I also felt that I was still very immature in design. Of course,

we still have a lot of time to learn and practice. As a young designer, I will work harder to try, learn, and practice in the coming time.
